The best preparation for a successful interview
The job interview is one of the most feared aspects of the job search and yet it provides you with a great opportunity to create a really good impression with a future employer. During my time as a a recruiter I prepared my candidates to go into their interviews with confidence.
An invite for an interview is a prospective employer’s way of telling you they think you could be a good fit for their business. It is therefore a great opportunity for you to showcase your talents and give yourself the best shot of being hired. Many candidates feel under pressure to perform at interview, forgetting it’s also a chance for you to find out more about a prospective employer and assess whether they’re the right fit for your career.
By the end of this coaching programme you will have a deeper understanding of what an employer expects at interview, including insight into how best to prepare for your interview. This includes different interview techniques, such as competency based interviews, and how best to respond. It will also identify where you can find out more about your interviewer and their business, to help you prepare ahead of your interview. It will help you feel more relaxed and confident, provide great ice-breaker topics (small talk) and identify great questions that will help you make the right decision, including how to ask for feedback.
This coaching package includes one 60 minute coaching session, plus a 30 minute post-interview session. Coaching is delivered via Skype, FaceTime or similar service. Payment in advance.
