Presenting with confidence
As a recruiter I’ve seen great candidates lose out on job or promotion opportunities due to poor, ill-prepared presentations. The ability to present to your audience with confidence and knowledge of your subject matter is essential to any successful presentation.
For some job roles, or for important sales meetings, you might be asked to prepare a presentation for a prospective employer, key stakeholders or a potential client. Therefore there’s a lot riding on a good presentation. A presentation should be clear, easy to follow and interesting and, crucially, deliver on what you’ve been asked to present – this is something I’ve seen very experienced recruitment managers fail at. Preparation is key. Remember the 6 P’s – piss poor planning leads to piss poor performance!
This coaching session will give you an opportunity to deliver your presentation, following which feedback and advice will be provided. It covers the do’s and don’ts of a good presentation, how to turn nerves into positive energy and communicate clearly and with confidence. It will also look at the aesthetics of your presentation, including the best format in which to deliver your presentation, what hand-outs or visual aids you might need and tips on how to win over your audience from the outset. Following changes you will then be invited to deliver your presentation with the subsequent changes.
This coaching package includes one 60 minute coaching session, plus a 30 minute session to deliver your amended presentation. Coaching is delivered via Skype, FaceTime or similar service. Payment in advance.
